Produce Gift Packs
Each pack is a discreet unit of pre-determined Packed Weight that cannot be added to.
The shopping cart reads the Packed Weight of each Produce Pack ordered, the Delivery Post Code and calculates the Post and Handling Charge/s that apply.
Random Selections
The shopping cart adds the gross weight of items ordered, adds 500 gms for packaging, and rounds the total up to the next whole kilogram - the Packed Weight.
Post and Handling Charge/s are calculated from Packed Weight and delivery Post Code.
In instances where total Packed Weight exceeds the design limit of the Shopping Cart, the cart will not calculate Post and Handling Charge.
In such instances, your order indicates we will contact you to confirm Post and Handling Charge (or words to this effect)
Heart of Mudgee reserve the right to quote Post and Handling Charges on any order, taking into account delivery destination, total value of the order, alternative means of dispatch or method of packing down.
Our aim is to ensure safe arrival and your value for money.
Mixed orders
(ie: Orders comprising of one or more Produce Gift Packs plus a random selection).
Each Produce Gift Pack is treated as an individual item (see above) and posted and charged out as such.
Individual items
(see Random Selections - above).
We reserve the right to quote on delivery charges - as above.
Registered Mail
Registered Mail allocates each parcel a unique identification number, so that the parcel can be tracked at almost every stage to its destination.
Registered Mail deliveries are not dumped on the door-step at risk of theft or weather damage. However, they but must be signed off as received by an occupant of the delivery address.
If no one is home when the mailman or mail contractor attempts delivery, an Australia Post Card is left in the mailbox.
This card the name of the recipient, that a delivery was attempted and that a parcel awaits collection from the Post Office named. (Persons collecting should take identification or a letter of authority if collecting on behalf of the addressee.)
Thanks to Australia Posts Registered Mail Service, we have not lost a parcel since we started using this Service. We have also not experienced breakage.
